Neil Clarke
Managing Director
Neil started the company on the 1st of July 1998. He was previously the Managing Director of The Interport Recycling Group. On the sale of Interport to UK Waste in September 1995 Neil worked as Group Commercial Manager for UK Waste, and also had a spell with their parent company Waste Management International as a special projects manager. Neil is an active National Council Member of the Confederation of Paper Industries Recovered Paper Sector and has also held the posts of Vice President of IWPPA (The Recycling Association) and chairman of IWPP Ltd in past years.
Hobbies: Golf, Travel, Walking, Soul Music, Everton FC Season Ticket Holder.
Simon Marsden
Commercial Director
Simon joined the company in September 1998 as a shareholder and director. He had spent most of his working life in the paper recycling industry with Waste Paper Products, ASM Waste Paper, IL Recycling, IWPP Ltd, Kimberly Clark and MM Paper Recycling. Simon is an active Recycling Association (formerly IWPPA) national council member and became President in March 2009.
Hobbies: Golf, Music, Cooking, Manchester City Season Ticket Holder.
Steve Bell
New Projects Director
Steve joined us in September 2003 initially to head Recycle UK Trading Limited which is now incorporated into Recycling UK Limited. Apart from a few years as a management consultant in the oil and gas industry, Steve has spent most of his working life in the paper industry. He trained as a paper maker with Scotts (Kimberly Clark) at Barrow-In-Furness before spells with UK Waste and Celtech International at Lancaster. Steve is also a shareholder and Director of the company.
Hobbies: DIY, Gardening, Travel, and a Keen Supporter of Liverpool FC.
Marie Waller
National Commercial Manager
Marie joined us on the 1st of October 2003 initially to help in our expanding logistics department. In January 2007 Marie joined our Commercial Team and has more recently taken on a more senior role nationally with us. Previously employment with Cheshire County Council, NHS Direct and BT.
Hobbies: Travel and Talking.
Sue Greatbanks
Accounts Manager
Sue joined us in March 2011 as Accounts Manager. She has vast experience in accounts management for various companies including the local Chamber of Commerce.
Hobbies: Walking, Art, Theatre and Family.
Alison Mitchell
Commercial Support Manager
Alison joined us on the 1st of April 1999 as an Administration Assistant and worked her way up to become Admin Office Manager. Alison has recently taken on the role of Commercial Support Manager to back up the Commercial team, and to ensure a smooth link between the commercial and admin functions of the company. Before joining the company Alison had worked for a cartridge recycling company.
Hobbies: Latin and Modern Jive dancing. Sailing. Football (Crewe Alex).
Carole Cama
Logistics Manager
Carole joined us in January 2007 as an admin assistant and now runs our very busy logistics department. Before joining us Carole had previously been an Inventory Controller with P. Williams Chemists Group at their head office.
Hobbies: Family and Travel.
Lisa Barberá
Commercial Assistant
Lisa joined us in February 2008 as a trainee commercial assistant straight from Business College. Since early 2010 Lisa has become more involved with supporting the commercial team as well as her duties within the logistics department.
Hobbies: Shopping, Socialising, and Travel.
Alex Pinson
Trainee Commercial Assistant
Alex joined us in October 2010 as a Trainee Commercial Assistant. Alex had completed his A levels which included Business Studies. Over the next two years he will be assisting the Commercial, logistics and admin departments, and also helping with the marketing of the company.
Hobbies: Golf, Power Boating, and a Keen Supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Rachel Dharewal
Export Administrator
Rachel joined our busy Export team in July 2010 as Export Administrator, Rachel has quickly adapted to this demanding role. Before joining us Rachel operated as an Office Manager.
Hobbies: Hang Gliding and Spending Time with her Family.
Emma Bancroft
Area Commercial Manager
Emma joined us in September 2011 as an Area Commercial Manager for the North West of England. Emma has preivously held Commercial Positions at Storm Recycling & Viridor.
